In every season, Aranyani tells a story. For 2025/26, that story is of Hope. Inspired by komorebi — the Japanese word for sunlight filtering through the trees, it is about fleeting beauty, transformation, and the resilience that carries us through life’s shifting landscapes.
At our family-owned atelier in Bangalore, the season took shape from a simple moment of poetry. Our founder Haresh Mirpuri wrote a poem that set the creative direction for the collection:
"I see the tiny drops of water,
Landing softly on the green leaves.
I see the playful light of the sun,
Piercing through the canopy of trees,
Creating a mystical golden hue on the leaves.
This celebration of sunlight and shadow,
Is like an interplay of what’s real and unreal.
Through this Komorebi of life, we embrace Hope.
As Beauty and Beast is just
But the perception of one and others,
In Hope, many stories unfolds.
Tales of courage, confidence and creativity,
Like that of the Citrine that is borne
Of the heating of the Amethyst
In the Earth’s own womb;
Hope is the pen that
Each of us write our lives with."
Nature's Alchemy
One of nature’s hidden treasures, gemstones have always carried meaning. Across cultures and centuries, they have been seen as more than ornaments, as symbols of strength and prosperity and healing. Among them, Citrine is unique. It begins as Amethyst and, through heat in the earth’s crust, changes into a golden stone. Amethyst is known to protect and calm; Citrine radiates warmth, uplifts energy, and brings clarity. This natural alchemy, pressure transforming darkness into light, mirrors the spirit of Hope.

Spray-painted leather panels capture the fleeting rhythm of sunlight through leaves, ensuring no two creations are ever the same. Mosaic medallions, carefully set with agate stones, remind us that fragments can come together to create wholeness. Intricate hand embroidery adds subtle details, rewarding the closer gaze.
