Clean
For regular care, briskly sweep your leather bag with a soft, lint-free cloth to clean it. If your product requires a deeper clean, we recommend contacting our customer support team to arrange for expert Aranyani aftercare. If you choose to clean your product at home, we recommend using a high-quality leather cleaner. Apply it in a circular motion and wipe it with a lightly dampened cloth to prevent pores in the leather from getting clogged. Please note that slight variations in colour depth may occur after cleaning. As our products are made from natural materials and each one is unique, colour fastness and texture may vary.
Condition
Regular and careful application of leather conditioner will maintain the softness and suppleness of your product, preventing flaking and wrinkling. Depending on your climate, apply conditioner at least twice a year, but not more than once a month. We recommend using a high-quality leather conditioner. Apply a small amount of conditioner to a soft cloth and gently rub it over the leather until it's absorbed.
Store
When not in use, stuff your leather bag with clean bubble wrap or parchment paper to help it retain its shape. Avoid using newsprint, as the ink may stain your product. Place your stuffed leather bag in its original dust bag, along with silica gel packets to absorb any moisture. If you plan to store your bag for an extended period, make sure to air it out regularly to prevent mold growth.
The “don’t” list
Avoid exposing your bags to household chemicals, perfumes, hairsprays or any alcohol based solutions, as these can cause its hardware (stones and metals) to lose its natural lustre. Avoid contact with anything that may stain your bags, such as oils, inks, dyes, or dark liquids. Avoid regular contact with dark garments (especially dark denim), as this may discolour lighter-coloured leather. Avoid overstuffing your bag, especially with rigid or odd-shaped tems, and this may stretch the leather and cause the bag to lose its shape.
